TeknoTools Data (“the Software”) is made and sold by NewTekno LLC, New Jersey, USA (“NewTekno”, “we”). Contact: support@newtekno.com.
When you buy a license, NewTekno grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the edition you bought on up to two (2) computers that you own or control. Licenses add up: buying several editions unlocks all of their tools. You may move a license from one computer to another by removing it in the app (Licenses → Remove) and activating it on the new one.
Without a license, every tool works in trial mode for 2 days from the first time you open the app, and exports only the first 100 rows. After 2 days, a tool needs a license to keep working.
Your license includes free updates for the version you bought, delivered through the app (Check for Updates). Updates are signed by NewTekno and installed only when you choose to install them.
You may not resell, rent, share or publish your license key; reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Software except where the law allows it; remove NewTekno’s notices; or use the Software to break the law.
The Software processes your files on your computer. NewTekno never receives the contents of your files. You are responsible for the data you open, join, compare, de-identify, export and share.
Mask helps you de-identify data using the HIPAA Safe Harbor method. Automatic detection is an aid, not a guarantee: you must review every field before sharing a file. There is no official HIPAA certification for software, and NewTekno does not guarantee that any file meets HIPAA or any other regulation. Your organization remains responsible for its compliance.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are one-time, in US dollars. Taxes may apply depending on where you live. NewTekno never sees or stores your card number.

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, NewTekno’s total liability for any claim related to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for your license. NewTekno is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data or profits. Keep backups of your original files.
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to new purchases. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
